System Integration
At Southern Bulk Equipment, we have extensive experience integrating material handling conveyors and equipment with process machinery, pre-existing equipment and with other bulk handling equipment.
For simple installations, SBE offers a line of pre-engineered industrial controls ranging from pushbotton start and stop controls on up to a PLC control system designed to accomodate and control up to 8 pieces of equipment off the shelf. Specific device control including Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's) for feeders and gravimetric controls and load cells are available in stand-alone units or can be integrated into entire plant control systems.
We also offer controls assistance, supply and startup for custom installations. This includes monitoring process equipment with separate controls, integration or replacement of existing control systems, safety controls that will prevent the operations of equipment when covers are removed, and almost every industrial automation need. Interfaces ranging from custom control panels with digital or analog readouts, remote kiosks and flatscreen machine/human interfaces are available in a wide range of sizes and configurations to help you keep on top of your processes.
Transistions between pieces of bulk material handling equipment are one of the most common issues when meshing equipment from different manufacturers together. At SBE, we have extensive flat pattern layout capabilities that can generate patterns for even the most complex sheet metal transitions. We also offer flexible, long-lasting and abrasion-resistant urethane inlet and discharge chutes that make installation a breeze and exact alignment unnecessary.
