Belt Conveyors
Troughed belt conveyors represent the least expensive means of conveying large amounts of material over long distances. They also are well-suited for conveying lumpy, abrasive and heavy materials such as aggregates, rock, gravel, sand and soil over shorter distances. Troughed belts usually be inclined up to 15 degrees, but certain materials and belt designs may permit even higher angles of inclination.
All SBE troughed conveyors utilize 30 degree CEMA B trough idlers, 220-330 class belting, stainless splicings, crown lagged head and tail pulleys, and gravity take-ups. Normal spans are 20', but custom frames can be used to span longer distances with no supports, or end support only.
